| Deltatalkers cost over £6000 and provide a "voice". These machines are sleek, lightweight and can store over 4,000 words. The user just presses a key or icon, rather like a giant keyboard and the Deltatalker "Speaks" the word stored at that location. This also can be accessed through headpointers or by using activated scanning controls. The Deltatalker can even sing and communicate in other languages. The user can become so proficient that they can hold complete conversations on almost any subject. | ![]() |
